we need to use the kinematic equation involving quantities of interest: initial velocity u, final velocity v, acceleration and time

so we use formula

v= u+at

v= 4+ 2*5

v= 4+10

v= 14m/sec

Hey there!
Here is you answer...

u = 4.0 ms^-1
a = 2.0 ms^-2
t = 5.0s

v = u + at

= 4.0 + 2.0 × 5.0

= 4 + 10

= 14ms^-1 ans.

Hope, it helps you...
