A ball will land at the same time if you drop it straight down from the top of a building or if you throw it out horizontally. Either yes or no explain it.

No because time of ascent is equal to time of descent .

Yes. This is such that the two balls will fall the same height. This is provided they both originate from the same point of view. Moreover,when none of the balls has an initial vertical velocity,also both balls accelerate in the same manner. The balls are travelling the same height under the same action of acceleration. This is if air resistance is neglected. Since the balls were fired horizontally and dropped vertically at the same time,they will reach the ground at the same time. PCG
