A balloon is rising up with an acceleration of 25 metre per second cube a body is dropped from the balloon when it is upward velocity is 300 second what are the values of velocity and acceleration of the body at the instant it is dropped

Use Newton's equation of motion for the balloon as it rises, v2=u2+2ah

--> 90000 = 0 + 2(25)(h)

--> h=1800

now the body, h=ut + (1/2)at2 where h is the displacement and a=acceleration of the body=g

--> -1800 = 300t - (1/2)(9.8)t2

--> t = 66.7 s
