Answer:

Velocity of stone when it will drop

= 10 m/s

Step by step explanations :

Given that,

A balloon which is initially at rest ,

starts rising with an acceleration

of 1.25 ms²

here,

Initial velocity of the balloon = 0 m/s

acceleration produced by balloon

= 1.25 m/s²

also given,

after 8 seconds.a stone is released from the balloon.

let the velocity of balloon after 8 second be v

now we have,

initial velocity(u) = 0 m/s

final velocity(v) = v

acceleration(a) = 1.25 m/s²

time taken(t) = 8 seconds

by the gravitational equation of motion,

v = u + at

v = 0 + 1.25(8)

v = 10 m/s

so,

velocity of the balloon after 8 second

= 10 m/s

now,

when a stone will drop

the velocity of stone will equal to the velocity of balloon

velocity of balloon = 10 m/s

so,

Velocity of stone when it will drop

= 10 m/s

Answer:

v (final velocity) = 10m/s

Explanation:

Ballon was initially at rest

So,

u = 0 m/s.........(Given)

a = 1.25 m/s² .........(Given)

t = 8 sec

v = ? ........(Find out)

________________________

Formula used:

v = u + at

_________________________

v = u + at

[Put the given values in formula]

v = 0 + 8 * 1.25

v = 10

V = 10 m/s

_____________________[Answer]

Velocity of Ballon after 8 sec => 10m/s

____________________________

When a stone is dropped velocity = 10 m/s

Velocity of stone when dropped => 10 m/s

Remember :-

» v = u + at

» s = ut + 1/2at²

» 2as = v² - u²
