A bamboo is of length 8m. If 1/8m is under mud, 1/4 part is under water. Find the fraction of bamboo is above water. Please answer meeee

Answer:

1/8of 8 =1 and 1/4of8= 2

1+2=3 mtr under mud and water

so 8-3=5mtr of the bamboo is above the water
