The deposit of amount which gives interest of Rs. 5250 in 3 months.

Let the amount be deposited for 3 months = P

Bank gives interest on every 1000 Rs. for one month = 35

Interest was given by the bank on every 1000 Rs. for 3 months = 35 × 3

                                                                                                         = 105 Rs.

∴ Interest on every 1 Rs. for 3 months = $\frac{105}{1000}$

∴ Interest on P rs. for 3 months

= $\frac{105}{1000}\times P=5250$

Now find the value of P

$P=\frac{1000}{105}\times 5250$

P = 50,000 Rs.
