A bar of copper of length 0.75m and a bar of stainless steel of length 1.25 m are joined end to end , each having a cross section area of 10^-4 m². The free ends of the copper and the steel bars are maintained at 100°C and 0°C . (1) Find the temperature of the copper-steel junction .(2) Calculate the rate of heat transmission across the junction. Thermal conductivities of Cu and steel are 400 and 14 Js^-1 m^-1 k^-1 respectively.
answers- 1) 97.9°C
2)0.11 Js^-1
