A barrel can be filled in 1 hr by 6 taps flowing at the same rate. how long will it take for 4 such taps to fill the barrel?

it will take 90 minutes.
            60/4=15
     there are 2 taps
   60+15+15=90 min

Find:

  • How long will it take for 4 such taps to fill the barrel?

Calculations:

=> x = 1/6

=> x = 1.5

ㅤㅤ

=> 1.5 × 4 = 6 or

=> 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 + 1.5 = 6

ㅤㅤ

=> 60 × 6 = 360

=> 360/4 = 90 mins.

Hence, 90 mins is the time to fill 4 such taps barrel.
