A basket ball has a surface area of 1810cm^2. Find its volume

A basket ball is in the shape of a sphere. So,

Surface area of sphere = 4πr^2 = 1810 cm^2

Solving this, r^2 = 1810 / 4π

= 1810 × 7 / 4 × 22

= 144

r = 144^1/2

r = 12 cm

Volume of sphere = 4/3πr^3

= 4/3 × 22/7 × 12^3

= 7241 cm^3
