Total eggs=250

Rotten eggs=1/10×250=25

Remaining eggs=250-25=225

Broken eggs=2/5×225=90

Remaining eggs=225-90=135

Fraction=135/250=27/50

Heya ,
        There were 250 eggs in the basket .
        1/10th of them were rotten , Hence ,

       rotten =
 \frac{1}{10}*250
                = 25 eggs.

       During Transportation 2/5th eggs fell down.so ,
           Remaining eggs = 250 - 25
                                     = 225
       Now eggs =  \frac{2}{5}* 225
                        = 90 eggs.

                  Eggs = 225 - 90
                            = 135

Hence , Fraction = 135 / 250   = 27/50
