A bat screams with a more 20,000 hz but we can not hear it . Why?

because we can hear only in a frequency range of 20 to 20khz

because our ears are able to hear sound of frequencies lying between 20-20,000 Hz. we cannot hear sounds of frequencies more than 20,000 and less than 20 Hz
