We have been given that

Mass of water = 11,000 ounces

Density of water = 0.58 ounce/inch3

Density = mass / volume or volume = mass / density

Volume of water = 11,000 ounces/ 0.58 ounce/inch3 = 18965.5 inches3

Rate = 72 inch3/second

This means that in 1 second, 72 inch3 of water is filled.

So, now we need to figure the time required to fill 18965.5 inches3 of water.

Therefore,

18965.5 inches3  x 1/ 72 inch3 = 263.4 sec
