A battery of 12 V is connected in series with resistors of 0.2 ohm, 0.3 ohm, 0.5 ohm, 1 ohm and 10 ohm . How much current would flow through 0.3 ohm?

R2 = 0.3 Ω

R3 = 0.5 Ω

R4 = 1 Ω

R5 = 10 Ω

R = R1 + R2 + R3 + R4 + R5

R = (0.2 + 0.3 + 0.5 + 1 + 10)Ω

R = 12 Ω

According to Ohm's Law

V = IR

Here V is 12 V and R is 12 Ω

Now I = V/R

I = 12/12

I = 1

All resistors are connected in series. So, the current will be same in all resistors

Hence current flow through the 0.3 ohm resistor is 1
