A biconditional statement is the conjunction of two ________ statements.

iff statements

if and only if statements.

for example

if a triangle is an equilateral triangle then its all angles are equal.

if all angles of a triangle are equal then its an equilateral triangle.

if its not if and only if then its not biconditional

for example

all angles of a quadrilateral are 90deg if its a square

but its not necessary if all angles of a quadrilateral are 90 deg it will be a square,. it can be right angle also

but it would have been biconditional statement if it would have been :

all angles and sides of a quadrilateral are equal if it is a square.

Answer:

A biconditional statement is the conjuction of two conditional statements.

Step-by-step explanation:

In a biconditional statement we use iff or if and only as as a conjuction of the two conditional statements.

For example: Statement 1: The boy is intelligent in math.

Statement 2: The boy can solve math problems.

Biconditional statement: The boy is intelligent in math if and only if he can solve math problems.
