A bicycle can be slowed down by dragging the feet on the ground owing to frictional force.

Friction can be defined as the force acting between two surfaces in contact, which oppose the motion of one body over another.

When feet are dragged, the force acts in the opposite direction thus reducing the speed of the bicycle.

a bicycle is moving with a velocity v then after sometime we drag our foot on the ground then the speed of the bicycle is slowed down because we know that the friction force is act on the opposite direction of the object of motion and when we drag our foot our foot works as a fictional force due to which our cycle slows down
