A. The mirror right in front of the eye is not placed correctly.
b. The principle is that reflected lights can be rereflected.
c. just invert the mirror which is at the bottom to 90 degrees clockwise.

1. Yes there is an error. The first mirror is arranged in a wrong way 2. The laws of reflection is used in this periscope.
