∴ Let Cost Price be= x

So, profit = ₹7x/100 [and, 12% profit = ₹12x/100]

According to Problem,

7x/100 + 60 = 12

=> 7x/100 - 12

=> 7x - 12

=> -5x/100 = -60 => [Both side negative becomes positive]

=> 5x = 60 x 100 =>

∴ The cost price is ₹1200
