A bike accelerates uniformly from rest to velocity of 10 meter per second over a distance of 50 m . Determine the acceleration of bike.

Given that, Initial speed ( u ) = 0 m/s
final speed ( v ) = 10 m/s
displacement ( s ) = 50m
acceleration ( a ) = ?
Since, v^2 = u^2 + 2 as
=> 10^2 = 0^2 + 2 a× 50
=> 100 = 100a
=> a = 1 m/s^2
