Find the cost of painting the whole outer surface of the box at the rate of Rs 3.50 per sq.m if the lenght breadth and height of the closed box are 2.5m,1.5m and 1.2m respectively

Surface area of the box!= 2(2.5*1.5+1.5*1.2+1.2*2.5)
= 2(3.75+1.8+3)
=2*8.55
=17.1 m so.
Rate of painting the box = 3.5
Total cost of painting = 17.1*3.5
= 59.85 rupees
