.A bike starts from rest and rolls down a hill with constant acceleration. it travels a distance of 400m in 20s. The force acting on it if its mass is 100kg.

As we know,

S=ut+1/2at^2

Since u is 0. (Body starts from rest)

Therefore S= 1/2at^2

400m= 1/2a×20^2

400= 1/2a×400

400= 200a

Therefore a= 400/200

a= 2 m/s^2

Force = Mass×acceleration

= 100× 2

= 200 N
