Explanation:

ANSWER:-

Given:-

  • A billboard in shape of parallelogram
  • The base is 3m
  • The height is 2m

To find:-

The area which needs to be polished.

Concept:-

Areas of Parallelogram and Triangle

Let's Do!

Area of parallelogram = \rm{Base \times Height}

  • Where base is 2 metre
  • Where height is 3 metre

Area of parallelogram = \rm{2 \times 3}

\rm{Area \ of \ Parallelogram = 6 \ m^2}

This is because no condition is given if any area is excluded, so we will polish the whole billboard.

Hence 6 m² is the answer.

More Formulas:-

\rm{Area \ of \ Triangle =Heron's \ Formula}

Step 1. \rm{s =\dfrac{s1+s2+s3}{2}}

Step 2. \rm{Area \ of \ Triangle =\sqrt{s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)}}

End of Heron's Formula.

\huge \frak {Given}

Base of Parallelogram = 3 m

Height of Parallelogram = 2 m

Area to be polished

\huge \frak {Answer}

As we know that

\boxed {\sf Area \: of \:  Parallelogram = B \times H}

\implies \sf Area \: = \: 3 \times 2

Area = 6 m²

\sf Focus \: Zone

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

Area of circle = πr²
