Length of blackboard = 8dm + 5cm = 80cm + 5cm = 85cm
Breadth of blackboard = 5dm + 5cm = 50cm + 5cm = 55cm
Therefore area of blackboard
= length*breadth
= 85*55
= 4675 sq.cm
Rate of charge = 20 paise per sq.cm = Rs. 20/100 = 1/5 per sq.cm
Therefore cost = 4675*1/5 = Rs. 935
