According to energy conservation,
Change in kinetic energy appears in the form of heat that is thermal energy. Now,
Thermal energy= 1/2m(v²₁ - v²₂)
(since, W (Joule) = Q (Joule))
=1/2(100×10⁻³) (10²-5²)
=3.75J
Hope it helps!!
