a block of mass 2 kg is pulled by a force 40 Newton upward through a height 2 metre find the work done on the block by applied force f and its weight mg take (g=10m/s^2)

1. work done on the block by applied force = F.S =40 x 2 = 80 joule (in upward direction)

2. workdone by t's weight = Mg x S = 2 x 10 x 2 = -40 joule (in downward direction)
