a block of mass 7kg is placed on a frictionless table. a thread tied to it passes over a frictinoless pulley and carries a body b of mass 3kg at the other end. find the acceleration of the system [given g= 10m/s^2]

Tension = Mass × acceleration

Let acceleration =a

Tension =ma=7a

Force = Mass ×acceleration

Ma=mg−T

3a = 3 × 10 - 7a

3a+7a=30

10a=30

a=30/10

a = 3 m/s²
