Hi there !!
Here's your answer

Edge of block of wood = 4m = 400cm
Volume = side³ = (400cm)³ = 64000000cm³

Dimensions of each cuboidal piece :
Length = 20cm
Breadth = 10cm
Height = 5cm

Volume = length × breadth × height
Volume = 20cm × 10cm × 5cm
Volume = 1000 cm³

Number of cuboidal piece that can be cut from it

 =  \frac{volume \: of \: wooden \: cube}{volume \: of \: each \: cuboidal \: piece}

 =  \frac{64000000cm {}^{3} }{1000cm {}^{3} }

= 64000

Thus,

64000 such cuboidal pieces can be cut from the wood

hiii!!!

here's ur answer...

given the side ( edge ) of the cubical block of wood is 4m

volume of the cubical block of wood = side³

= 4 × 4 × 4

= 64m³

given :-

length of the cuboidal piece = 20cm = 0.2m

breadth of the cuboidal piece = 10cm = 0.1m

height of the cuboidal piece = 5cm = 0.05m

volume of the cuboidal piece = l × b × h

= 0.2 × 0.1 × 0.05

= 0.001m³

hence, no. of cuboidal pieces can be cut from the wooden block = 64/0.001

= 64000 pieces

hope this helps..!!
