another is moving at 12√2 km · h-1 towards north-
west. Find the relative velocity of the second boat with
respect to the first boat​

=> component of velocity of 2nd boat in

North direction. = (12√2)cos 45° = 12√2×1/√2

= 12km/h

=>relative velocity of 2nd with 1st

=( 12-12)

= 0 km/h
