A body A of mass 1kg undergoes a head-on elastic collision with a body B of mass 1kg. If at the same time of collision the bodies were moving with velocities 100m/s and 50m/s in the same direction. What will be their velocities afer collision?

Here is your answer!!!!!
In in your question.
Given:
The mass of the first body(m1) = 1kg.
The mass of the second body(m2) = 1kg
Initial velocity of the first body (u1)= 100m/s.
Initial velocity of the second body(u2) =50m/s.
Finally velocity of both the body= ?
hence,
v1 = v2 = v
By applying the formula,
m1u1 + m2u2 = m1v1 + m2v2
here we replaced v1=v2 = v.
Let the v1 and v2 be the common velocities of the body.
So,
(1 x 100) + (1 x 50) = (1 x v) + (1 x v)
100 + 50 = v(1+1)
150 = 2v.
v = 150/2
v = 75m/s.
Therefore their velocity is 75m/s.
I hope this will helps you.
Thanks.
