a body accelerates uniformly from rest to 20 m/s for 4 sec, then moves with same velocity for the next 6 sec, after this it retards to come to rest in 2 sec.
(a) Draw velocity-time graph for the motion and form it.
(b) Find the total distance covered by the body.
please answer it fast !!! I want it now !!!

The total distance is the area under the graph. The area under the graph is a trapezium
We therefore use the formulae of getting the area of a trapezium.
(a+b) /2 ×h
h=20
a=6
b=12
A=(6+12)/2 ×20=180m
180m.
The image gives the graph of the motion.
