Explanation:

mass of body , m = 3 kg

force on body , f = 12 N

time , t = 4 s

∴ f = ma

a = f/m

a = 12/3 = 4 m/s²

∴ velocity = acceleration × time

v = at

v = 4 × 4 = 16 m/s

∴ momentum = mass × velocity

p = mv

p = 3 × 16 = 48 Kg . m/s
