Given:-
- Distance covered by body (d) = 60km
- Time taken (t) = 5/2 hrs = 2.5 hours
To Find:-
- Speed of body (S)
Solution:-
As we know that distance travelled by an object at per unit time is called Speed of the object
→ Speed = Distance/Time
→ s = d/t
Substitute the value we get
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀→ S = 60/2.5
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ → S = 60×10/25
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀→ S = 600/25
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀→ S = 24Km/h
∴ The speed of the body is 24km/h
Additional Information!!
Some equation of motion are
⟹ v = u +at
⟹s = ut +1/2at².
⟹ v² = u² + 2as
Here,
v is the final velocity
u is the initial velocity
a is the acceleration
s is the displacement or Distance
t is the time taken
