Given :

» Body covers circular path of radius R in 20 secs.

To find :

» Distance and displacement at the 50 th secs.

Solution :

One circular path ( full rotation) = 2πr units.

» Circumference = 2πr units.

Time = 20 seconds.

Speed = distance travelled / time taken

Speed = 2πr / 20

» Speed = πr / 10

Now ,

Speed = distance travelled / 50 = πr/10

Therefore distance = 5πr units.

Displacement is the shortest distance travelled = 2r

where r is the radius.

» distance = 5πr units.

» Displacment = 2r units.
