Given distance = 1m = circumference of semi circle

Displacement = shortest distance between the two points which makes a "diameter" d = 2r as the path is semi circular in shape.

So, Circumference = 2πr = πd
        1m = πd
           d = 1/π m
Therefore, diameter = displacement = 1/π m

And the ration of distance and displacement is 1:1/π = π:1

Given distance=1m

Displacement=2r

Circumference=2πr=πd

1m=πd

Therefore, diameter=displacement=1/πm

And the ratio of distance and displacement is 1:1/π=π:1
