Answer:

Initially the body starts its motion from rest therefore u = 0. Let journey be 'A' when a acceleration of earth is acting on the body time = 4 seconds let's find 'v'.

 \purple{v = u + at}

v = 0 + 9.8 × 4

v = 39.2 m/s

When acceleration stops acting the velocity of the body is 39.2 m/s . Now the distance traveled by the body in next 1 sec.

 \purple{s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}}

s \:  =  \: 39.2 \times1 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times 0 \times  {t}^{2}  \\  \\ s  = 39.2 \times 1 \\ s = 39.2m
