let distance be x

so time1 = distance / speed = x/ 20

time2 = distance/ speed = x/ 30

total time = x/20 + x/30 = x/12. ( Plus toh khud kr lena)

so average speed = total distance / total time

= x + x / x/12. = 2x × 12 / x =. 2 × 12 = 24
