Answer:

If the body goes around the circle then we will calculate it's cicumference with the help of it's radius.

Circumference of a circle = 2 Pi R

2 × 22/7 × 42

= 2 × 22 × 6

= 264 cm

Total circumference = 264cm

But the distance travelled by the body is only half of the circle

So,

Total circumference÷2

= 264 ÷2

= 132 cm

Distance = Displacement = 132cm
