u = 3
a = 1
and t=1 .
Then we find v from 1 eq. of motion.
And then Using t=4 We can easily find the velocity of the body ...

Given:

The initial velocity u= 3 m/sec

The acceleration a=1 m/sec²

The time is t= 4 sec

To find:

The velocity after 4sec

Solution:

We have the formula of net velocity

V=\sqrt{u^{2}+ v^{2}  }

Where v is velocity in y direction = at=1×4= 4 m/sec

Put the value back in above equation.

V=\sqrt{9+16}

V=√25

V=  5 m/sec

The velocity after the 4 sec is 5 m/sec
