A body having uniform acceleration of 10 ms-2 has a velocity of 100 m s-1 . In what time, the velocity will be doubled ?

u=0m/s

v=100m/s

a=10m/s2

t=?

So, v=u +at

100=0+10t

t=10sec

similarly, when v is doubled v=2*100=200m/s

again v=u+at

200=0+10t

t=20sec
