A body initially at rest travels a distance 100m in 5s with a constant acceleration. calculate (1) the acceleration, and (2 ) the final velocity at the end of 5s.

D = ut + 1/2 at square
100= 0+1/2 a×25
100=1/2 ×25 a
a=8m/s square
V= u+at
V= 0+8×5
V= 40 m/s
