A body is acted upon by a force of 5N. It is displaced 2m perpendicular to the direction of the force. Calculate the work done by the force.

the work done is zero ....since the force and displacement are perpendicular to each other


we know that W=F×S×cos teta

where w is the work done

F is the force applied

S is the displacement

teta is the angle between force and displacement which is 90°

so cos90 is 0


so the work done. becomes 0
