A body is allowed to fall freely from a height of 1000m . find the time taken to reach the ground (g=10m/s^)

U will be Zero as the ball is dropped

Using third equation of newtons law of motion ;

v² - u² = 2as

v²= 2(10)(1000) = 20000

v= 100√2

Now, using 1st equation of motion,

v = u + at

100√2 = 10t

Time taken = 10√2 seconds
