Hi, interesting question. I used to wonder during my physics class if the Earth and Moon were too close that we could jump on the moon easily, how amazing would have it been. To my knowledge then came that even though the both look similar they have some differences.
When we leave the surface of the earth our body weight decreases, mass remains same, this is due to the gravitational pull on moon. The gravitational pull is less on the moon than the earth, hence the weight is less. The size of the moon is smaller, only one six of the earth, that is why our weight on the moon is less.
However, there is no such thing that increases on the surface of the moon than the size on earth.
