A body is coming down an inclined plane with an acceleration of 2m/s². If it starts from rest find the time after which its velocity will become 5m/s.

By applying, v=u+at.....u=0,a=2,v=5,....... t comes out to be 2.5 sec.Hope it helps

Given:

u(initial velocity)=0

Acceleration = 2m/s²

v(final velocity)=5m/s

t(time)=?

Since, v=u+ at

=> t= \frac{v-u}{a} =  \frac{5-0}{2} = \frac{5}{2}   =2.5s


Therefore, time it takes is 2.5 seconds to reach the velocity of 5m/s
