As the body is constrained to move only in z-direction we should take Force and displacement along that direction only to find work.

Force acting along z-direction = 5 N

Work done = Force × Displacement
= 5 N × 5 km
= 25 kJ

Work done by force to move body by 5 km is 25 kJ

The body is constrained to move in dir z, hence displacement will be 5k

and Force= 3i-9j+5k

Work done = Force . displacement
= (3i-9j+5k) . (5k)
= 0i +0j + 25
= 25

Hope this helps!!!

promote it as brainliest!! if you think it is!! thanks !!

JunaidMirza: It will be better if you mention their that you did dot product. Btw good answer. Keep it up.
NotDNerdType: k, will keep that in mind!! thanks for the pointers!!
