We know that

At mean position =velocity is max.

= omega(w).a

Where,

W=frequency

a=Amplitude

Given ,v= 10m/sec.

Now,

Vmax.=w×a

10. = w×1

W = 10/1

=10

Hence ,frequency is=1o

Answer:

The frequency of the body is 1.590

Explanation:

It is given that:

Amplitude = 1 m;

Velocity, while passing through the mean position = 10 m/s;

We know that;

There is a relationship between Velocity, Amplitude, and Angular velocity.

That means;

Velocity is equal to the product of angular velocity and amplitude;

So,

V = Aw;

where,

V = velocity;

w = angular velocity;

A = Amplitude;

we have,

V = 10 m/s;

A = 1m;

So,

Angular velocity = 10;

Now,

Angular velocity and frequency are related:

w = 2πf

where,

f = Frequency;

w = angular velocity;

10 = 2\times \frac{22}{7} \times f

\frac{70}{44} = f;

⇒ f = 1.590;

Hence,

The frequency of the body is 1.590.
