Explanation:

the velocity of body will continuously changed because of the effect of gravitation force acting done words on the body but we can define the average velocity because it is defined for a comparatively large interval of time the average velocity will be the total distance travelled upon total time taken at the height of the body from which it is stop by H and hence applying

average velocity = 7 m/s  when body  reaches earth if freely falling from a height 10m

Explanation:

a body is freely falling

=> u = 0

Height = 10 m

=> S = 10

a = g = 9.8 m/s²

using V² - U² = 2aS

=> V² - 0 = 2(9.8)(10)

=> V² = 196

=> V = 14

Average Velocity = (u + V)/2

= (0 + 14)/2

= 7 m/s

average velocity when it reaches earth = 7 m/s

Another Method :

Using S = ut + (1/2)at²

=>10 = 0 + (1/2)(9.8)t²

=> t² = 100/49

=> t = 10/7

Average Velocity = Distance time  = 10/(10/7)  = 7 m/s
