distance = 2πr
displacement= 0

distance is a actual path covered by particle it is scalar quantity and is always positive while displacement is straight line between final and initial position displacement is vector quantity and it may be positive , negative , zero

     hence after complete one rotation

            displacement = 0

              distance = 2πR
