A body is moving along a circular path of radius R . What will be the distance travelled and displacement of the body when it complete half revolution

linear distance = πR
circular displacement = theta = π=180°

Given the object is moving in a circular path of radius R.

Distance is the total length of the path travelled by the object.
For half rotation, Distance travelled will be equal to half of the  circumference of circle .

Distance=πR

Displacement is the shortest distance  between the source and the destination.
In this case it will be the diameter of circle which will be 2R.

Displacement =2R.
