A body is moving with a speed of 36 km/h is brought to rest in 10 s . What is the negative acceleration and the distance travelled by the body before coming to rest?​

Given:-U=36 V=0, Time=10 sec

Solution:-v=u+at

0=36+10a

a=- 3.6

Hence negative acceleration is -3.6 m/s

s=ut+1/2 at^2

=36×10+1/2×3.6×100

=540meters

Hence distance travelled is 540 m
