If the motion is uniform, the velocity remains the same.
Hence, acceleration is zero.
so, s= ut +(1/2)at²
       =ut
       =10×5
       = 50 m

distance = 50 m

Answer:

Explanation:

Given :-

Initial Velocity of body, u = 10 m/s

Time taken by the body, t = 5 seconds

To Find :-

Velocity

Distance covered

Formula to be used :-

S = ut + (1/2) at²

Solution :-

Here, motion is uniform so the velocity remains the same.

Hence, acceleration is zero.

S = ut + (1/2) at²

S = u × t

S = 10 × 5

S = 50 m

Hence, Distance covered by body is is 50 m.
